May 14th - EuroMysterium 2006 Status Update

Shorah!

We regret to announce that there will be no EuroMysterium this year.

The old Guild of Organisers, responsible for EuroMysterium 2005, would like to pass the torch on, while currently maintaining the site and forums and offering help for future organisers. As far as EuroMysterium is concerned: anyone interested in getting EuroMysterium 2007 rolling is more than welcome to help. Ventures started independently from this EuroMysterium site are welcome to do so, but we would like to ask you to inform us once you have things going.

While there will be no EuroMysterium 2006, there are quite a few mini-mysteria spread around Europe. One of these alternatives is the German 3rd Uru Reallife Gathering. A few days ago, the German Uru Revival Council 2006 announced that registration for the gathering has begun, so register and join us in Germany!

If you know of any other European mini-gatherings, please inform us, as well as the wider community, on the EuroMysterium forums and we will be glad to announce it as a news item on this site.

December 30th - EuroMysterium 2006?

To all European Myst/Uru-Fans,

Six months after EuroMysterium 2005 was held, there seems to be little activity. The forums are unused, discussions about the next EuroMysterium don't last long, etc. But there is one crucial point the Euromysterium 2005 Committee can't really be sure about. Is there any interest for a future Euromysterium? Who would be willing to come? Who would be willing and able to organize it?

The EuroMysterium 2005 Committee is very busy with real-life issues. They would like to "pass the torch" on, while at the same time offering help as consultants or in keeping site and forums maintained.

You, as a part of the Myst/Uru community, are needed. There's a poll over at Uru Obsession. Please head over there and vote. Even if you aren't interested in the whole Gathering business at all, please vote. We (the committee) needs to know whether there's enough interest for a future EuroMysterium. Many thanks!

The EuroMysterium 2005 Committee.

PS: Please understand that it's most practical to have only one poll on this subject. Uru/Myst Obsession was simply chosen because it has the most users registered.

August 28th - New Forums; Site updated

As you have no doubt noticed, the EuroMysterium web site has been updated a bit. The EuroMysterium 2005 section has been archived and we've added forums.

The old Guild of Organisers, responsible for organising EuroMysterium 2005, is being transformed into a quite international EuroMysterium committee, in which we'd like representatives of all European communities. Keep your ears open for more information on how to get involved soon.

Good news for all Myst communities! The forums can now be used to discuss, plan and announce all international Myst events, whether it be the big one, EuroMysterium, or smaller international gatherings. That's right: we want everyone in the Myst community to be involved! The EuroMysterium committee will aid in advertising every community's gatherings. More information will become available later, stay tuned!
